Poletíme? borrow things from all kinds of styles. “It is difficult to use a style classification for our band. We don’t have enough woods for schrammel. We are too punk for country music. We are too pleased with ourselves to play jazz. We aren’t curious enough for swing. Now we play softly and then again like madmen. We live for songs – stories – chansons. And because the chanson is usually kind of wimpy, we need to turbocharge it so we can enjoy it,” says Rudolf Brančovský, the band leader.

After three indie records, the band last year released its fourth album called Turbošansón with the country’s largest publisher, Supraphon.
