A glimpse of Seattle grunge musicians with their typical checked shirts merged with Indie trends of their British counterparts of the inspiring 1990s.  These are the foundation stones of the melancholic and often unexpectedly raw music of Citizen37, a group of four musicians from Česká Třebová, which possesses a real treasure: singer Bára Soukupová with her earnest, original expression. Despite the fact that the formation has so far recorded only one album (“Unhappy Destinies Of The Room Stars”), they are definitely worth seeing, which is evidenced by their recent invitation to the biggest open-air festival in Europe, DonauInseltFest, where they are going to perform a week after the United Islands Of Prague (as the only rock group, imagine that!).
