Taking its name from the main character from DJ Salinger’s Catcher in the Rye, the band was founded in 2009. They are on the verge of guitar indie and synthpop influenced by the likes of M83 and The 1975.

After two earlier EP records, the band debut album Hopetown was released last September with several guests appearing, e.g. Ema Brabcová and Boris Carloff, in whose studio the album was recorded. “We are basically a pop band, but we’re trying to have an approach that is different from most bands in the country,” Martyn Starý, the frontman, says.
