Saying that this band comes from Istanbul (TR) and plays dream pop with shoegaze that is just becoming fashionable again, that does sound quite exotic. In fact, it is none more exotic than when Czech bands run around worshipping the same words. The Away Days, a band of five, was founded in 2012 and have released two SP and one EP so far. They say their music is influenced by Joy Division, The Smiths and The Strokes. Reviewers, however, claim to hear notions to bands like Ride, Swervedriver and School of Seven Bells.
