The band Výsměch? (Mockery?) from Polička belongs to the fixtures on the Czech dark music scene. Although its roots date back to 1996, they haven’t released any regular album yet, but they are working on it at the moment. Their line-up has changed since then, they have a new singer now. On the twentieth anniversary of their birth, the postpunk/gothic rock gang seems to have a bout of creativity, performing a long series of concerts all across the Czech Republic. Their chilly message might come in handy in the hot summer in Palác Akropolis.
