This was initially a one-man project of Jakub Kaifosz from 2011, which would eventually become a trio with a vision to make simple songs. “I’ve always loved the early instrumental surf rock from 1950’s and 60’s; I especially enjoyed the local character of bands like Surf Punks,” Jakub says. “Their songs basically said ‘this is my beach and it is none of your business’. It seemed cool to me to mix it with me being from Letná – I was born here – and I find the local character and the relationship with the place really great.”
