Yo Soy Indigo (US/UK/CZ/SK/SE)
The American singer and composer Emily Thiel comes from Connecticut, but she has settled in Prague and founded a music band with an untraditional name – Yo Soy Indigo. Her music is an original fusion of many influences and the band has put a name on it as “FOLK-FUNK”. Most of the band members are well-proven musicians from the “melting pot of nationalities” that is Prague. The most famous player is the bassist: the former member of the -123 min trio, Fredrik Janáček. The other names also are a promise of an overwhelming experience: Mark Newson (keyboards), Dušan Černák (drums), Max Deyes (percussion) and Andy Fell (violin).
